Whether you’re crushing it on a big conference stage or showing your brilliance in the boardroom, this is the time to dazzle your audience. Whatever your reason for needing a killer presentation you’ll want to design it in a way that will electrify and enlighten the crowd with a moving, persuasive, masterfully designed presentation. In this workshop, Mona will show you how to design slides that will inspire your next audience and get them to champion your ideas.
What you’ll learn:
- How to design slides that don’t suck without a degree in graphic design
- The importance of themes, colors and fonts
- How to find breathtaking images that you can use with confidence
- The Do’s and Don’ts of ClipArt (mostly don’t)
- The must have programs that will take your slides from crappy to killer without breaking the bank.
Bonus – for attendees only: Bring your own laptop and a presentation you’re currently working on and Mona will give you some tips in class that can set your presentation on fire!! A word of caution though – She won’t pull any punches, she truly wants you to be successful so be ready for honest and sincere feedback.
Mona Vogele is a classically trained musician, former radio DJ, and a veteran leader and trainer from Southwest Airlines whose speaking engagements, consults, and teachings ring with a fervent message that leadership isn’t just about spearheading an operation…
Because you first have to strike a chord before you can lead a march.
Relationship – to work and each other – is the ultimate fundamental. To neglect its importance implies a strange expectation that you can pack the house and then bring it down with an incredible performance without rehearsal, sound check, and knowing your band.
Strong leaders know who needs a bass drum and who needs a snare. They know who’s off pitch and why. They know how to take a song from just an idea to #1 on the charts. Mona’s work is about that discernment. Because those who have it possess the freedom to fine tune where necessary.
And in doing so, they rewrite the score.
