We are excited to announce the launch of our Business AI Essentials Series, presented by Jordache Johnson, exclusively for NSA Houston members. Each month, on the first of the month, a new pre-recorded Essentials AI video session will be released in our Members-Only Vault on the NSA Houston website. These videos will cover key principles and practical insights on integrating AI into your business strategies.

In addition to the video series, Jordache will host a monthly live Q&A and hands-on working session. These sessions will give members the opportunity to ask questions, dive deeper into AI applications, and work through real-world scenarios together.

Please Note: EACH SESSION REQUIRES A SEPARATE REGISTRATION.

We’ll hold a virtual call on May 22 at 11:30 AM to answer any questions about the open seats and committee roles. The deadline to complete this form is May 28th. The current board (2025-2026) will vote at our June 1st board meeting after that we will send a announcement celebrating the 2026-2027 board and committees members.

The NSA Houston Monthly Board Meeting is a dedicated time for our chapter leadership team to come together to plan, collaborate, and make key decisions that support the growth and success of our chapter. Each meeting includes updates on events, committee initiatives, membership engagement, and alignment with the NSA national mission.

Led by the NSA Houston President and attended by the Board of Directors, these meetings ensure strategic direction, accountability, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional member experience.

Board meetings are open to all current NSA Houston members who wish to learn more about chapter operations, explore leadership opportunities, or discover ways to get involved.

Held on the first Thursday of each month, this 30-minute virtual session offers an overview of NSA Houston’s mission, events, and the many opportunities available at both the local and national level.

Led by Deborah DeRouen, this is a welcoming and informative space where you can ask questions, receive membership guidance, and connect with a supportive community of speaking professionals. You’ll also discover how to access mentorship, get involved in chapter programs, and make the most of your NSA experience.

Hands Off! A Speakers Guide to Staying Safe for Everyday Life

Why It Matters:

A speaker’s life requires a great deal of traveling, staying in hotels, and networking. But a speaker’s physical and mental safety is of utmost importance. The Hands-Off program provides concepts and techniques for the following:

1. Setting boundaries and communicating expectations

2. Situational awareness and de-escalation approaches

3. Basic self-defense against grabs and holds

4. Safe space techniques for networking/happy hours

Wear comfy clothes, all experience levels and ages are welcome and ask questions. Most importantly, we are going to have fun!
